From the menu go to: View > Directory Window
Use this command to access remote and system Directory folders. The Directory window can open automatically on start-up by selecting ( Preferences - General - Start Up) "Display directory Window".
Opening a single file:
Double click selected file to open.
Opening multiple files:
1) Select (highlight) files to open (Hold CTRL key down and click on every file to open).
2) Right click selection.
3) Click on "Open Selected" to display.
